"Ann Dustin Wilson"
Born June 19th, 1950-San Diego, Ca.
Ann Wilson has been in many different bands as she was growing up. She has always been influenced by music. Previous bands ranged from "The Mode" in 1966, "The Viewpoints" 1966-1967, to "The Rapunzel" 1968, amongst other acts such as "White Seal" in 1969, "A Boy And His Dog" 1969, "Proof" 1969, and also "Ann Wilson and The Daybreaks" 1969. Ann Wilson joined "Heart" in 1970. Her added influence to Heart ranges from her soulful voice to the sounds of her flute, her guitar to bass guitar, to piano and last but not least the influence of her words. She is a poet and lyricist, and musician with so many accomplishments in her life. She is Woman with a heart and soul filled with passion...needless to say the rest is "History". Here are the many different faces of Ann showing us the grace and style to the power and her gentle side..I do hope you enjoy..and as I will say, "Rock on to the Queen of Rock & Roll"!
UPDATE ON ANN WILSON: For the first time in the history of Heart, lead singer "Ann Wilson" will be releasing her first cd entitled "HOPE AND GLORY" Sept. 11th 2007! We the fans are estactic about this cd, for it has been a long time coming. We are proud of her accomplishments, for we have watched her growth throughout the years of the band and wish her the best in fulfulling her dreams and desires with this cd.
